As we write to you this month, the situation here in Minnesota has begun to calm—at least outwardly. The most visible waves of disruption have slowed, and we are gradually finding our way back into our regular rhythms. And yet, anyone who has lived through a destabilizing moment knows that trauma is not confined to the moment itself. It lingers. It reshapes your sense of safety. It settles into the body and the community in ways that don’t simply dissipate when headlines fade. We are feeling that lingering impact. So while things are steadier than they were, we are still very much in the process of recalibrating. Because of that, this newsletter is lighter than usual in commentary and additional content. What we are able to share, though, is something we’re genuinely excited about: the captivating continuation of Peerless, which continues to meet this moment in ways we couldn’t have anticipated.
